Balby Storage | Doncaster Container Storage
The suburb of Balby is located in the borough of Doncaster, a large town situated in South Yorkshire. It’s the home of current economic activity, especially around the Carr Hill Industrial estate.
If you’re familiar with Balby that may be because of BBC Sitcom, Open All Hours, and its sequel/revival series, Still Open All Hours – where it filmed the exterior scenes on Lister Avenue, which is actually near our Doncaster Container Storage base.
In the early 20th Century, St Catherine’s Hospital was built in the south of the village, it is now a hospital estate. However, many people from Balby have claimed that the place is haunted since the area was built on an ancient site of healing and pilgrimage.
